Where do I start?

Hey, loneawoo here Where do I even start with this? I’m writing this just because—I should be coding in Godot. But I want to get this off my chest before I continue. Game development is really complicated. It requires a ton of expertise, dedication, and time. You need to learn hundreds of different disciplines to bring a project to fruition, and above all else is the idea. I need to learn the basics before moving forward. Good morning, Loneawoo here for the world. This is going to be my headquarters for learning, reflection, and progress. I’ve always wanted to break into the video game industry; I’ve tried many times and given up. I think it was a combination of ignorance, lack of discipline, and immaturity—why not say it? Fortunately, these days we have plenty of tools, engines, and educational content to help us learn. Right now I’m in a bit of a complicated work situation (which I might talk about another time), and I’m having a hard time finding a job in IT, so I think this might be the opportunity I’ve been waiting for.
